Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb and his family would remain in self-quarantine for 14 days as they returned to Bhubaneswar from the United States on March 15.
The family had gone to the US to attend several programmes in the Jagannath temples in various American cities.
After reaching here, the royal family registered online in the State Government’s COVID-19 portal. The family is currently staying in their residence here taking precautions for maintaining good health in view of the highly-infectious virus. The Gajapati Maharaja has also appealed to people, who have arrived in the State from abroad on or after March 4, to immediately register in the Government’s COVID-19 portal and remain in home isolation for at least 14 days.
