Even as expelled Congress leader Srikant Jena has claimed to open a Pandora’s Box on AICC president Rahul Gandhi and the Congress-BJD link during the Gandhi’s rally in Bhubaneswar on January 25, there is hectic preparations among the Congress workers in Puri to gather a big crowd of supporters at the rally ground.
A fresh air is marked within the Congress camp in Puri with every faction busy to pull maximum supporters to own fold for a strength showoff in Bhubaneswar. They are now targeting villages to draw more and more people.
“We are gathering a large number of people, who are presently silent only for groupism,” said Swadhina Panda, a young leader engaged in uniting the splinter groups for a common platform.
He added that Rahul’s address will surly recharge them to come on action mode.
Meanwhile, while the BJP camp is curious for what Jena would reveal, the BJD camp is less worried looking at the image of their party president.
“Srikant only knows what he is going to tell on a link between the Congress and the BJD. Let’s wait till his exposure,” said BJP leader Krusnachandra Jagadev.
“Every accusation has fallen flat in the past before the face of our Chief Minister. This time too, it would not have any effect on the people, who are united under Naveen Patnaik,” said BJD district Mahila Morcha president Shanti Pradhan.
