A Government employee, Braja Kishor Patnaik, who works in Khajuripada block in Kandhamal district, was suspended from his job as he was working for the local BJD MP candidate and involved in distribution of money.
Sources said Patnaik had stayed with the candidate in a hotel on March 27. The district Collector had directed the DRDA Project Director to inquiry into the case, following which the matter came to light. The complaint was given by lS Independent candidate lambodar Kanhar.
