Central University of Orissa (CUO), Koraput Vice-Chancellor Prof Sachidananda Mohanty has stepped down from his position on personal grounds. His resignation has been accepted by the President of India.
Prof Mohanty, who had joined the CUO on August 7, 2015, would hand over the charge to the senior most Professor of the university on February 28.
Mohanty thanked the university community, students, staffs and the faculty for their cooperation during his tenure. He also thanked the university community for significant milestones.
He also thanked the MHRD, UGC, State Government, district administration and the people of Odisha for their cooperation and good wishes. He wished the university the very best in the coming years.
