President Pranab Mukherjee will pay a two-day visit to the State from Friday.
The President is scheduled to arrive at the airport here at 1.45 pm on Friday and leave for Rameswar by a helicopter to attend the golden jubilee function of the Rameswar High School there. He would reach there by 2.30 pm. He would leave Rameswar by 3.15 pm for Puri to visit the lord Jagannath temple. He would stay at the Puri Raj Bhavan for the night.
On Saturday, Mukherjee would leave Puri by 10.05 am and reach the Naraj helipad (Cuttack) by 10.50 am to attend the convocation of the National law University there. He would leave Cuttack by 12.20 pm for Bhubaneswar. After taking rest at the Raj Bhavan here, he would visit the KIIT University by 5 pm. At 6.30 pm, he would leave for New Delhi.
