BJD vice-president Prasanna Acharya was on Monday nominated as the BJD Parliamentary Party leader in the Rajya Sabha.
BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wrote a letter to the Rajya Sabha Chairman in this regard, informed party State secretary Bijaya Nayak.
Earlier, Dillip Tirkey had held the post, which was vacant after his tenure ended over a month back.
