Police on Sunday arrested one Utpal Mazumdar of Sakhipara in Sambalpur town on the charge of sending a prank message to many mentioning that Sambalpur MlA Dr Raseswari Panigrahi has resigned on the IIM location issue.
Earlier in the day, the BJD had lodged a complaint with the police in this regard. The text of the message was ‘Sambalpur MlA resigned protesting IIM at BBSR’, police sources said.
