The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) has renewed its Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) for another three years on Wednesday at the CDMO office in Jagatsinghpur.
On behalf of PPT and the State Government, the CMO and the CDMO had signed an agreement in 2015. On the occasion of renewal process, CMO PPT Prahallad Chandra Panda and CDMO GC Mahanta, district programme manager and other the officials were present.
JSY scheme is a safe motherhood intervention under the National Health Mission. It is being implemented with the objective of reducing maternal and neonatal mortality by promoting institutional delivery among poor pregnant women.
