The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) Hospital would provide treatment to all local journalists soon, PPT Chief Medical Officer Dr Prahallad Chandra Panda informed.
The Odisha Journalists’ Union (OJU), Paradip unit had requested for free health treatment at the PPT Hospital earlier. But the PPT authorities had allowed the facility to local reporters with deposit of registration fees.
OJU, Jagatsinghpur unit chief advisor Gagan Bihari Sahoo, organising secretary Pravakar Sahoo ad Paradip unit president Prasanta Rout and Sanjay Mishra had met the PPT CMO and requested for treatment at the hospital and presented the PPT order copy.
The CMO accepted the request and informed his officials for treatment of local reporters.
