The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) observed the International Day for Persons with Disabilities in the premises of the Jagruti, a school for physically-challenged children, on Wednesday.
PPT Chairman SS Mishra gracing the occasion as chief guest appreciated the school authorities for taking care of the physically-challenged children and assured to promote the activities of the school.
He also distributed prizes to students who had participated in various competitions. Welfare Officer Dibakar Pattnaik explained the importance of observing this day. Jagruti Secretary Sangeeta Biswal spoke on the achievements of the school.
