As part of its ongoing port awareness campaign for schoolchildren, the Paradip Porton Saturday organised an interactive session with the students of the DAV Public School here at the Jayadev Sadan.
The students asked about the PPT’s Go Green mission, the proposed 20-MW Solar Power Plant and the upcoming Port Industrial Smart City Project.
Around 150 schoolchildren participated in the session with the port officials. Further, an informative audiovisual clip on the port activities was screened for them.
The Public Relations wing of the PPT facilitated a ‘Port Visit’ for the students, accompanied by their faculties. The students got glimpses of ships, cranes and other harbour areas. They returned with excitement and expressed that their first visit was enlightening.
