The persisting undeclared loadshedding has disrupted the online admission process for Plus II and Plus III classes in Gajapati district.
“Power cut is taking place about 20 to 30 times a day in both the town and rural areas in the district. The students who are coming from rural areas to submit application online for admissions into the Plus II and Plus III classes are suffering a lot,” said a resident here.He informed that the students are being forced to stay in Paralakhemundi at least for two days to get a chance to apply online. Now, the town is witnessing rush of students as the last date for submission of application for both the classes has been fixed for June 21.
Parents have demanded that the Government take immediate steps to supply power uninterruptedly so that all students can submit applications in the remaining short period.
