Amid observance of the Martyrs’ Week by Maoists in the State from Friday, several posters were found in the Padua area of Koraput district opposing it.
According to reports, the Koraput Yuva Jagaran Samiti, a social outfit of youths, has put up posters at various places in Padua urging people to protest the Martyrs’ Week.
It has been mentioned in the posters that Maoists have killed many innocent people branding them as police informers. As many as 58 people have been killed by the Red rebels in Koraput district in the last seven years, the posters read.
