After a day’s break, the Posco project boundary wall construction resumed on Thursday with about 20 meters of the wall being erected till evening. And the work progressed without any resistance from any group.
The wall work had halted on Tuesday for arrangement of construction materials and due to unavailability of masons. Interestingly, villagers of Nuagaon panchayat are yet to decide on the wall construction in their area as the villagers are divided over the issue. Meanwhile, some villagers opposed to the construction had uprooted a few demarcation pillars at the site and a villagers committee from project site Gadakujang had met RDC Arabinda Padhee at Jagatsinghpur on Tuesday seeking convening of an RPDAC meeting.
