The Paradip Port Banik Sangh and the Eastern India Oil Refinery Workers’ Union led by prominent trade union leader Santosh Kumar Pattnaik celebtated the Republic Day at their office premises.
At Zero Point office, the national flag was hosted by chief guest Manindra Guru, president Oil Refinery Contract Labour Cooperative Society. Chief Speaker Niladri Bihari Mohanty told about Indian Constitution and duties and responsibilities of citizens.
EIORWU working president Dilip Kumar Behera, general secretary Padmalochan Dash, assistant secretary Niranjar Nayak, Abhiram Samal, Arup Pattnaik, Netrananda Samal, Biswambar Tarai and Paradip Port Land Losers’ and Affected Farmers’ Association president Chinmaya Das, secretary Mihir Kanta Sahoo were present.
At the Badapadia office, Banik Sangha secretary Niranjan Mohanty unfolded the National Flag and Dibakar Baisakh, Pramod Mohapatra, Chaitanya Sahoo, Sarat Sahoo, Anadi Parida and other members participated in the festival.
