The Paradip Port Trust continued its drive of taking local school students to the port to make them understand port activities on Saturday.
The PPT Public Relations wing organised the ‘Port Visit’ campaign for the Bethany Convent School in the second leg of the programme.
Around 150 students accompanied by their faculty from the school visited the port. They got glimpses of ships, cranes and other harbour areas.
Further, an informative audiovisual clip on the port activities was screened for the children at the Jayadev Sadan.
They also got an opportunity to meet and interact with senior PPT officials in an informal ambience outside the classroom.
The children returned with excitement and expressed that their first visit was very knowledgeable and informative.
The PPT has already chalked out a schedule for other schoolchildren from the locality which will be covered later on.
