Though the SBI has opened two ATM counters in the town, they remain out of order most of the times. Customers face harassed as at times both the counters are found closed without notice.
Besides, the counters often don’t have adequate money. The SBI is considered as the most customer-friendly bank, but it is the opposite here. This town bustles with business activities, and a number of adjacent towns depend upon the bank’s service. The retired service personnel also depend on the SBI for their pension. It is high time the SBI should extend good customer service in the larger interest of public, opined the locals.
