The Commissionerate Police are groping in the dark in the Vizag Steel Plant (VSP) AGM I Shyama Prasad Rao murder case. While the cause of the murder is still a mystery, police have intensified investigation from all possible angles. “Investigation is on from angles like loot, professional rivalry. CCTV footages of Biju Patnaik International Airport and ATM counters where the deceased person’s ATM card was used for cash withdrawal,” said Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi.
On Monday morning, the police had recovered the body of the deceased near the Hanuman Mandir behind the Sainik School in the VSS Nagar area under the Saheed Nagar police station. As the deceased was said to have stayed in the house of one Koteswar Rao at Kharvela Nagar on Sunday, the police are now on the lookout for the latter.
Meanwhile, a team of the Commissionerate police officers left for Vishakhapatnam to find clues to the murder.
