A three-member team of Raipur police reached here on Wednesday for investigating murder of serial killer Udyan’s parents in Raipur; police team visited Saket Nagar house of killer where body of 28-year-old woman was recovered.
Team investigating the murder of Udyan’s mother Indrani Das and father BK Das reached the city and would search Udyan’s house and investigate the fake death certificate obtained by the accused.
Raipur police have formed a five member Special Investigation Team (SIT) which includes an official of CSP rank and four officials of inspector rank and would investigate the murder of Udyan’s parents. The police would search for property and bank documents of Udyan’s parents at the house and other places in the city where the accused used to visit and stay.
The reports of DNA of Udyan’s parents have been obtained and would be matched with the Udyan’s. A murder case of the Udyan’s parents has been registered with Raipur police.
After the arrival of the Raipur police it is possible that the Saket Nagar house where the live-in partner of the accused Udyan was found buried would be searched. The house would be dig as possibilities of other dead bodies buried in the house could not be ruled out.
Raipur police would investigate the death certificate of Udyan’s mother in which she was declared dead on February 5, 2013 and later on February 8, 2013 Udyan obtained the death certificate after applying claiming death of his mother. The documents were obtained with the aim to sell the property in Raipur.
