The City police are still clueless about the anti-socials who looted `10.75 lakh at gunpoint from a staffer of a trader on his way to bank in Brahmapur on Tuesday afternoon. Though the police started a manhunt to nab miscreants, they have failed to do so 24 hours after the incident. A total of four miscreants looted the money from well known trader Binod Sahu’s driver Bhima Behera and accounts assistant Jagan Sahu at Sandha Mohanty Street here.
According to complainant lodged with the police, when Jagan and Bhima were going to the SBI’s evening branch near to his owner’s shop in a car, the miscreants intercepted their car barely 100 metres away from their shop and looted the money at gunpoint.
