The State Congress on Friday announced to observe the Prime Minister’s visit to the State on Saturday as ‘Vishwasghat Divas’ (‘Betrayal Day’) to highlight what the party describes as “failures of the Modi Government”.
Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president said Niranjan Patnaik said, “Modi has been presenting his report card for the last four years. Which one is trueIJ Has the promise given in the BJP’s election manifesto been kept by himIJ He has betrayed the people of India.”
Samajwadi Party State president Rabi Behera said Modi has no morality to address Odisha people as he has failed to direct the Chhattisgarh Government to stop barrage constructions on the upstream of Mahanadi.
Behera said the Samajwadi Party activists would hold a demonstration at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar against the PM’s visit.
