The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Sunday announced that it would publish results of the Plus II Science examination by May second week.
CHSE Chairman Basudev Chhatoi said efforts are on to publish the results before the stipulated time so as to facilitate the students who look forward ro participate in national level entrance tests to take admission in engineering and medical streams.
Chhaoti informed that the first-phase evaluation of Science papers evaluation is completed and the second phase would be over shortly.
Notably, the evaluation process of Plus II answer-sheets had been disrupted for about five days due to a massive teachers’ stir throughout the State demanding abolition of the Block Grant system and provision of grant-in-aid (GIA). The teachers boycotted their duties from April 4 to April 10, but after successful negotiations with the Government they joined the evaluation process.
Generally, the CHSE publishes results of Arts, Science and Commerce examinations by the first week of June.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Ministerial Committee headed by Finance Minister Pradip Amat would be held on Monday at the State Secretariat to discuss on the demands of the 662 and 488 Category College teachers’ demand of abolition of Block Grant system and implementation of full grant-in aid.
