The annual Plus II Science practical examination would begin from Monday. The test will continue till February 9. The practical examination, which was scheduled to begin from January 27 to February 2, has been rescheduled following death of a Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) employee in a road accident while carrying the Science practical question papers recently.
However, the Theory examinations would begin on March 2 as per schedule. The CHSE has made it mandatory for residential colleges to install CCTV cameras in examination halls during practical examinations.
Such measures have been taken after reports of large-scale irregularities by the college authorities during conduct of examinations appeared. The colleges have to submit the answer-sheets along with camera recordings of three hours during the conduct of exams.
