Evaluation of Plus II answer-sheets was disrupted for the fifth consecutive day on Friday as the striking 448 and 662 category college teachers didn’t join duty despite repeated requests by the CHSE authorities and the Government.
With this, students and their parents are apprehensive of timely publication of the results.
“The JEE Main results will be out soon. If publication of our results is delayed, we will suffer a lot,” said a Plus Two Science student here.
Meanwhile, the Block Grant College teachers continued their dharna at the evaluation centres on Friday.
“The CHSE’s attempt to engage Government and autonomous degree colleges and universities has failed. They are not acquainted with the Plus II syllabus. The Government is playing with future of students. We will continue our strike till all our four legitimate demands are met,” said 448 category teachers’ association secretary Atal Bihari Bal.
CHSE Chairman Basudev Chhatoi said some teachers from Government and autonomous colleges and three universities would join the evaluation process on Saturday. “We are informed that some teachers have already been listed by Government and autonomous colleges. The clear picture will be known tomorrow,” he said.
