The annual Plus II examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will begin from Monday at 1,092 examination centres in the State. This year, about 3,72,000 students of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational Education streams will appear at the examinations which is 50,000 more than the last year’s figure. The examinations will start at 10 am and continue for three hours.

The question papers would be sent to the examination centres between 7 am and 9 am before the commencement of the examinations. Higher Education Department Additional Secretary Durga Prasad Behera said the question papers have already reached all examination hubs and would be sent to all the examination centres by 9 am. “Besides, we have formed a five-tier squad that would supervise and monitor the examinations in these centres. Specific instructions have been given to all principals to keep a close watch on the Centre Superintendents against whom disciplinary action would be taken immediately in case of any irregularities,” Behera said.
