Plus II admission deferred to May 27

In view of delay in publication of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class X results, the State Government on Tuesday postponed the beginning of admission process into Plus II classes from May 15 to May 27.

The decision to this effect was taken here at a high level meeting chaired by Higher Education Minister Badrinarayan Patra at the State Secretariat.

“The CBSE officials and the students approached the Higher Education department to change the admission schedule. Hence, we decided to start the admission process from May 27 instead of May 15 in the larger interest of students,” said Patra.

As per the revised schedule, the admission process will start from May 27. “From May 27 students can apply for admission and the last date of submitting the application is June 12. While the first selection list will be published on June 12, the first phase admission will be held between June 26 and 30,” said a senior official in the Higher Education department.
