While the shockwave over murder of three persons still prevails, ghastly killing of two more people in Tunguritola under Thetheitangar police station in the same Simedega district has confirmed the People’s liberation Front of India (PlFI) presence on the Odisha-Jharkhand border.

According to reports, while the villagers of Tunguritola were preparing to celebrate the Xmas, the village’s lady ward member Kanti Aind and her husband Sushil were making a cake in their house on Tuesday after sending their children to the village church. In the meantime, some miscreants dragged the couple from their house and slit their throat. When the daughters returned from the church, they were shocked to see that their parents were laying in a pool of blood.

The villagers informed the Thetheitangar Police Station. A police team led by Simdega district SP Asim Bikram Minz and comprising SDPO Simdega Pitambar Singh Serwa and IIC Brijlal Ram rushed to the spot with the force. They sent the bodies for postmortem and have initiated an investigation into the incident.

It is to be mentioned here that three villagers under Bano Police station under the district were found dead under the similar circumstances.

The consecutive two incidents have led to reign of terror in the boarder area at Biramitrapur.
