Government and bank employees deserve a one-day leave on the day they voluntarily donate plasma for treatment of Covid-19 patients.
“Voluntary plasma donation is equal to the act of blood donation as plasma is a component of blood. As per an order of the Home Department issued on June 9, 1985 and a circular of the RBI dated August 22, 1987, voluntary plasma donors deserve to get a one-day leave on the day they donate plasma. Thus, the donors should enjoy a special leave,” said Orissa Voluntary Blood Donors’ and Motivators’ Association founder president Dillip Dashsharma.
