State Planning Board Member Kamala Pujari was admitted to the Saheed laxman Naik Medical College Hospital (SlNMCH) here on Saturday after she complained of difficulty in breathing.
Reports said Pujari was also feeling pain in her waist, stomach and chest. Earlier last week, she had fallen unconscious at her house.
“We are conducting some tests on her. After the medical tests are over, she will be shifted to a special ward and a team of doctors will be monitoring her condition closely,” said Koraput CDMO lalit Mohan Rath.
Besides, if required, she would be shifted to a hospital outside Korput for advanced treatment, added Rath.
