The State Planning Board Deputy Chairman Bishnu Das on Friday reviewed several developmental works undertaken by the Jagatsinghpur Municipality in the current fiscal year.
Municipality Chairman Biplab Choudhury greeted Planning Board Deputy Chairman Das. Municipality executive officer Krushna Chandra Mohanty gave in details about the several developmental works under progress.
Das wanted construction of a market complex adjacent to the municipality building and repair and replacement of electric poles. He assured the municipality authorities and councillors of granting funds from the State Urban Development Department for several wanting projects.
The review meeting was attended by municipality Councillors, officers and different departmental engineers.
