Former Government pleader and senior advocate of Dhenkanal Bar Surendra Mishra has urged the State Revenue Secretary for his intervention into the autocratic functioning of the Dhenkanal Tehsildar and his harassing the common people.
In his petitions to the Revenue Secretary, the RDC (Northern Division) and the District Collector, Dhenkanal, Mishra cited that the Dhenkanal Tehsildar and his office staff are harassing people on different official works, especially on change of ROR and are issuing valuation certificate regularly. Besides, Mishra alleged that the Tehsildar is deliberately violating the Odisha Right to Public Service Act 2012 and delaying the mutation cases. Instead of following the mutation rules and manuals, the officer has let his own whims to prevail, he charged.
