The BJP on Friday filed a police complaint against BJD MlA and Nabarangpur District Planning Committee (DPC) Chairman Manohar Randhari alleging that the latter uses red light on his car in violation of court direction.
A team of BJP leaders lodged this complaint at the Nabarangpur police station and sought action against Randhari.
Notably, Randhari was appointed Nabarangapur DPC Chairman on June 25 this year along with eight other MlAs for different district.
The DPC chairpersons have been given the rank of a Minister of State status by the State Government as per the amendment of the Odisha Office of Profit Act, 1961 approved by the State Cabinet on January 16.
