The women here on Tuesday from Basanta Bihar, Mrudanga Sahi, Saree Sahi, Kumbhar Sahi, Kachara Sahi, Sanamukha Sahi and others streets in the town took out a rally from and submitted a memorandum stating not to allow wine shops near religious places, educational center and street corners.
After the order passed by the Supreme Court to shut down all the wine shops within 500 meters near highways, the owner of the wine shops are planning to open the wine shops in various places in Paralakhemundi, especially in ward number 5, 6,7, and 15. The women submitted the memorandum to ADM Dhrubaraj Pandey.
