The Odisha Pisciculture Development Corporation limited (OPDC) functioning under the Fisheries and ARD Department has been selected to receive the International Star Award for leadership in Quality (ISlQ) in Paris, France during a two-day function to be held on June 27 and 28. The award is a result of recognition by the Business Initiative Directions (BID) for the contribution of OPDC ltd in terms of leadership, quality and excellence in pisciculture development. The decision to present the (ISlQ) award in Gold category to OPDC ltd was taken by the ISlQ Selection Committee on the basis of criteria of the QC1OO Total Quality Management Model. This award is sponsored by 26 Imarpress media publications, all oriented towards organisations focused on innovation, quality and excellence.
