A state-of-the-art physiotherapy and occupational therapy centre was inaugurated at the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) by Minister of Health and Family Welfare Naba Kishore Das on Saturday.
The Minister also inaugurated a yearlong mega health camp by the KIMS for four districts, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh and Ganjam. He thanked KIMS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta for the initiative. The health camp with free medicine distribution will be held in every block headquarters of the four districts on first Sunday of every month. Doctors, specialists and paramedical staffs from KIMS will join the camp and provide health services. The camp will be held in district headquarters twice every month.
