On the first day of the biennial Maa Budhi Thakurani Yatra of Brahmapur, local photography enthusiasts’ club Berhampur Photowalks organised a special Photowalk programme on Sunday.
Members of the club visited the make-shift temple of Maa Budhi Thakurani and shot photographs of the deity, her devotees, the devotional environment and the celebrations.
Club’s founder member Dr Jyoti Prasad Pattnaik said they would organise many such events during the month-long festival. The photos taken during this event would be displayed not only in the facebook group but also in international reputed websites to make the festival popular amongst global masses, he added.
