Classes of PG First Year and UG Pre-Final Year students would resume from February 10, Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo informed on Tuesday.The Minister said students would be given permission to stay in hostels from February 8. Covid-19 protocols would be mandatorily followed in both classrooms and hostels. The authorities of educational institutions have been asked to ensure that students, lecturers and all other staffs wear mask, maintain social distancing, use sanitiser and wash hands frequently.
All concerned should maintain a six-feet distance in classrooms, laboratories and libraries in the colleges and universities, the Minister said.Regarding examinations, Sahoo said the third semester of 3-year UG courses and the fifth semester of 4-year UG courses would be held between April 19 and 30 and the results of the same would be declared by May 31.
Besides, the first semester examination of PG students would be held between June 7 and 19 and the results would be announced by July 20, Sahoo informed.
