Deeply pinching pockets of the common man, the petrol price touched Rs 100 per litre, an all-time high in State capital city Bhubaneswar.
This was the 33rd hike in less than two months pushing the fuel prices to new highs across the country.Petrol is now sold at Rs 100.1 a litre at several filling stations in Bhubaneswar.
And diesel is sold at Rs 97.25 in the capital city.In Cuttack too, prices of petrol and diesel stood at Rs 100.27 and Rs 97.50, respectively.The other places, where the petrol price also crossed the Rs 100-mark were the districts of Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri and Ganjam.
