The lawyers are Shyam Divan, PS Narasimha and Prasant Bhushan, sources said. The apex court had on April 9 directed Jena to propose the names of three lawyers, one of whom can act as the Amicus Curiae in the case.It may be noted that the court’s direction followed the decision of petitioner Jena to part ways with his advocate SC Tripathy, who had been handling the case so far.The court will consider the proposed names and choose one of them to play the Amicus Curiae on April 23, the sources informed.

The court asked Jena whether his former counsel Tripathy as well as the counsel  for the Odisha Government Shibashish Mishra had handed over all relevant documents to him or not. When the latter replied in the negative, the court directed both the advocates to do the needful at the earliest.
