Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday felicitated successful civil service candidates from Odisha this year at a function here. He presented each a silver wheel.
“I would like to announce here that the State Government will soon come out with a package to encourage civil service aspirants from Odisha. The State Government will provide all assistance to the candidates who clear the civil services main examination to avail coaching from best institutions in the country,” Patnaik said. He advised the successful candidates to be honest officers and help the nation by effective policy implementation. Besides, he also told them to be sympathetic towards the poorest of the poor.
Among others, Higher Education Minister Dr Pradeep Panigrahi, Chief Secretary Gokul Chandra Pati, Principal Special Secretary of GA Department GVV Sharma also spoke.
