The Vigilance police on Thursday conducted simultaneous house searches on properties of Anil Kumar Padhi, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) of Beherapali GP in Bargarh district, on allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.During searches, properties worth Rs 70 lakh were detected. These included, one double storied building and two plots at Matruvihar, Bargarh, one TATA 709 truck, one tractor, two two-wheelers, insurance deposits over Rs.5.57 lakh.
