The Samajwadi Party State unit president Rabi Behera on Friday urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to provide monthly pension to those who were arrested during the Emergency in 1975.“On the 40th year of completion of Emergency, the Akhilesh Yadav Government has introduced a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 and medical facilities for those who were arrested during the enforcement of Emergency. We demand that the same should be implemented in Odisha,” said Behera.
