Balangir Superintendent of Police Madkar Sandeep Sampat flagged up two PCR vehicles namely Town PCR No. 8280190689 and Laxmijore PCR No. 7855832327 on Saturday for better control of crime.
After introduction of these two PCR vehicles ,whose movement would be tracked by GPS system from Control Room ,police would able to rush to the incident spot within 15minutes and extend its service, said Sampat.
The public may dial 100 to communicate with PCR team or the number given to each PCR vehicles. The area of both the PCR has been earmarked.
The vans will be equipped with first aid kits with trained staffers for immediate treatment of injured in accident cases. "We request the people to make optimum use of the PCR vehicles in case any such situation," the SP added.
