Pradesh Congress Committee president Jayadev Jena on Thursday held an emergency meeting at the Congress Bhawan here in view of the impending cyclonic storm Phailin and distributed rescue and relief assignments among party vice-presidents, general secretaries and secretaries.

PCC disaster management units would also be made functional in district and block units of the party.
