Pradesh Congress Committee president Jayadev Jena on Saturday appointed observers for the party’s 31 organisational districts for the forthcoming Municipality and Notified Area Council (NAC) polls in State.
The observers would visit all the urban local body (UlB) areas and discuss with the District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents, local party MPs, former MPs, MlAs, former MlAs, former and present block, NAC, Municipality chairpersons and leaders of frontal organisations. Then they would select candidates based on their winnablility. The proposed candidates’ lists would be produced before the PCC president and AICC in-charge of State party BK Hariprasad at the earliest, said a party release.
