BJP leader Kamala Kanta Pandey on Wednesday alleged that PC (percentage) taking practice continues unabated in Kandhamal district with Government officials demanding money from beneficiaries in different Government schemes.
He too alleged that beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) are being given money only when they agree to put up Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana logo in front of their houses.
He alleged Labourers are being asked to pay Rs 1,000 to get job cards under the MNRGEA. For this, many people are being forced to go to other States in search of work.
Pandey also alleged that medical services have been disrupted and many schools have been closed due to scarcity of teachers.
