To provide revenue-related service at doorstep, a process has started at Nahantara revenue circle of Nimapara tehsil in Puri district on Wednesday.
The land purchasers will not have to make round in tehsil for mutation of lands and land patta any more. The revenue inspectors (RIs) will now serve the pattas to the mutation holders. The land purchasers only can deposit the dalil and fees at the tehsil and the next procedure
would be followed by the RIs, said Nimapara tehsildar Kamaljeet Das. Here at Nimapara land pattas were distributed to some people in the presence of the tehsildar and other officials for the first time on the decision of Puri Revenue Department. The people appreciated the move.
