The Vedanta Ltd, Jharsuguda signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the SRL Limited for the upcoming state-of-the-art Vedanta Pathology Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre at Jharsuguda.
Vedanta CEO CN Singh and SRL Limited West Bengal and Odisha Cluster Head Rajasi Das signed the MoU on behalf of the respective organisations in presence of Health Minister Naba Kishore Das and senior members of both companies.
Das said, “This is a historic day for Jharsuguda as with this MoU signing between Vedanta and SRL, the district will get the first of its kind pathology and diagnostic centre, which will cater to the entire region and will be of much help to the people of western Odisha.”
“This is in continuation of the State Government’s commitment towards the same, for which Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had laid the foundation stone earlier. This effort by Vedanta is appreciable,” he added.
Singh said, “The state-of-the-art laboratory and centre is our humble token of gratitude and appreciation dedicated to bettering the lives of the rural masses of Jharsuguda and western Odisha, in line with our Chairman, Anil Agarwal’s vision for the greater good.”
