The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the State Government for probing into the abduction and murder of five-year-old girl Pari in Nayagarh district interrogated accused Babuli Nayak on Wednesday.
The team led by IPS officer Arun Bothra questioned Nayak at the Nayagarh Town police station for more than two hours from 11 am to 1.30 pm.
The SIT also held discussions with district the police officials, who were earlier involved in investigation of the case. The team has already visited Pari’s village Jadupur and made queries from her parents.
