Parala Maharaja and former Brahmapur MP Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo, who had been discharged from the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai on Tuesday and was on his way back home here after more than four months of treatment, had to return to the hospital from the Chennai International Airport on Tuesday night as his health condition deteriorated.
Deo would return after two days of special treatment under super specialists of the hospital, informed a source close to the royal family.
According to reports, a special seat had been arranged by Spice Jet officials for the king, but his health condition deteriorated after he reached the airport, following which the airline officials found it difficult to board him on the plane.
Deo’s daughter Kalyani also did not agree to bring him back to Paralakheundi, and the king was readmitted to the hospital.
